About

Ann Arbor Meals on Wheels reduces hunger and food insecurity, and supports the dignity and independence of the homebound in the Ann Arbor area who are unable to shop and cook for themselves by delivering nutritious and balanced meals six days a week.

The University of Michigan Health System’s Patient Food and Nutrition Services prepare the meals and our amazing volunteers deliver them to our clients. These visits also serves as a safety or wellness check, with volunteers reporting any concerns they may have to Meals on Wheels staff. For many of our clients, a volunteer is the only person they see all day.

“I don’t know what I’d do without you all. Such a very fine and life-saving program. I thank you all with a very full heart.” – Meals on Wheels participant
